I haven’t been active on this forum since around 2006, so going back nearly twenty years now, but it was such a special place to me at the time. I was in a difficult place personally, but my friendship with Matt (and others like Lissa, Bernie, Christian…) kept me going. Rest in peace, dear Matt - thank you for giving me a beautiful, safe place to be myself and to share my love for Kate’s music.

I just want to express my gratitude and thanks to Matt for creating this forum and to pay my respects to him for the contribution he has made to our community. His passing is a tragic loss. I share the forums sadness and extend my condolences to his family and friends and loved ones.
